PLYMOUTH in UNISON has been approached by Fred Thomas, the PPC for Labour for Moor View for help with his campaign:
Fred left the Royal Marines this summer to stand for Labour, fed up with lousy governance and poor policies. He is a dedicated public servant, lives in the Beacon Park area of Plymouth Moor View constituency, and wants to deliver a fresh start for his community. But he needs all the help he can get.
His campaign is in the midst of delivering an intro leaflet  to every house in the constituency (43,000 doors). Can you spare an hour or two to do a few roads – every little helps and it would be hugely appreciated. If any of you Labour Link members are happy to help out please get in touch and we’ll link you up with his team to do some streets near where you live or wherever else is convenient.
Further down the line, likely 10:30 on Sat 2 December, he’s hosting a coffee social meeting where folks can find out more about the campaign and how they might want to help out. Keep an eye out for that, particularly if you are a constituent.
