In partnership with Jen Bennet from HR & Meme Arnouk from W&C pharmacy Plymouth in UNISON is hosting a stand in the level 6 foyer and outside the restaurant on level 7 on 18th October, International Menopause Day
Women’s Officer Rae Lloydmorgan will also be hosting Drop-in Advice Clinics in the DCHW on the 11th and 24th of October. Hopefully the first of many if we can convince the hospital to fund more clinics assuming these pilots show that there is a need for them.
We will be signing the pledge to say that there will be a menopause policy coming soon to the hospital.
We are also working on a period policy with the charity binti.period who aim to end period poverty in this country and third world countries.
Binti.period have said that they will supply us with period boxes for FREE for every member of staff. They have done this to 55 locations around the country; Surrey CC were the FIRST CC to provide free period products to all their staff.
