UNISON’s negotiating team had made it very clear that after years of real terms pay cuts (25% of the value of your pay since 2010) and the work done by our members throughout Covid, we needed a serious offer. And this isn’t it!

Right now we are consulting our members and the NJC committee strongly recommend you reject the offer in a consultation exercise that will run until 23rd September. We need maximum turnout for this to justify moving to a ballot for industrial action. They don’t think you will do anything about your pay. We need to prove them wrong.

You can read more about the pay consultation here http://www.plymouthinunison.org.uk/vote-to-reject-unfair-pay-offer/

You should by now have received this email from UNISON South West. Check you inbox (or spam) on or around 31st August

If you still have questions there are two ON-LINE Meetings for you to attend to learn more about it.

The branch is holding its own virtual meeting for members as well as a joint meeting with the other NJC unions in Plymouth City Council on the 13th and 9th Sept. Find the MST links here http://www.plymouthinunison.org.uk/events/  so there will be no need to vote in ignorance.
