Joint unions publish Long Covid Protocol

This protocol builds on national NJC and Burgundy book guidance. It has been signed by head teacher unions ASCL and NAHT which should be helpful in terms of getting agreements locally.

Where we have already negotiated better agreements locally then they should remain in place but in most schools and indeed some other employers this can be rolled out.

With education staff having the joint highest incidence of Long Covid alongside social care workers, we hope this new protocol can be used locally by branches to protect school staff.
